Description
The KANE KWA1 Wrap-Around Pipe Probe is a clamp-on temperature sensor designed to measure the surface temperature of pipes without needing to cut into or penetrate the pipe. As its name suggests, it wraps around the pipe (clamps around it) to make a firm thermal contact. With a maximum rated temperature of 150 °C, it is ideal for many HVAC, boiler, and hydronic system temperature measurement tasks.
By using a wrap-around design, the KWA1 provides a non-intrusive, easy-to-install solution for capturing accurate pipe temperatures in flow/return circuits, radiator loops, and other closed systems. It’s particularly useful for differential temperature (ΔT) checks, performance diagnostics, or verifying system performance without disrupting fluid flow.
