Description
The KANE AUTO600 is a robust, portable diesel smoke meter designed to test exhaust opacity in diesel engines of cars, light commercial vehicles, and larger units under pre-compliance and workshop conditions. It combines both AC and internal rechargeable battery power to deliver up to 3 hours of runtime in the field. It supports continuous monitoring, peak smoke measurement, and averaging over multiple tests — while reporting in both k (/m) and % Hartridge (HU) units.
To facilitate ease of use, the AUTO600 includes a wireless or wired handset, self-calibration before each test, and compatibility with an infrared printer for instant result printouts. Its compact, rugged housing and lightweight design make it easy to place near exhausts, while Bluetooth (or cable) communication ensures flexibility during testing. Ideal for workshops, environmental auditors, fleet operators, and local authority testing, the AUTO600 meets recognized accuracy and repeatability standards for Category A & B diesel engines.
