Description
The KANE3500 Range comprises a family of high-accuracy differential pressure meters designed for demanding field applications — from measuring flue draft and gas/air ratio valves on high-efficiency boilers, to performing tightness and leak-by tests on installations. Each model in the series is temperature-compensated to reduce drift, offers selectable resolution modes, and supports multiple pressure units (mbar, Pa, inH₂O, PSI, etc.). All variants include data hold, max/min logging, and can output results via optional infrared or wireless modules.
The selector models—KANE3500-2, KANE3500-5, KANE3500-15, and KANE3500-30—cater to an increasing range of pressure magnitudes:
Model | Nominal Range* | Best Use Cases |
---|---|---|
KANE3500-2 | ±160 mbar (≈ ±2 psi) | Low-pressure monitoring, flue draft, boiler performance checks |
KANE3500-5 | ±400 mbar (≈ ±5 psi) | Standard HVAC / duct & system pressure differentials |
KANE3500-15 | ±1040 mbar (≈ ±15 psi) | Mid-range systems, more aggressive pressure differentials |
KANE3500-30 | ±2070 mbar (≈ ±30 psi) | High-differential systems, broader dynamic range testing |
* “Nominal range” is the primary intended measurement window; all models support up to 5× over-range without sensor damage.
With the modular approach, you can choose the variant best suited for your pressure range requirements, while maintaining consistency in features and usability across the entire KANE3500 line.
