Description
KANE-GCU Gas Conditioning Unit
The KANE-GCU is a gas conditioning unit designed to work with KANE958 and KANE988 combustion analysers, providing enhanced accuracy for NO₂, SO₂, and other trace gas measurements. It conditions flue gas by removing water vapour and protecting against absorption losses, enabling more reliable readings even under challenging conditions.
Built to handle flue temperatures up to 1,250 °C, the unit uses a Peltier chiller to condense moisture and collect it in a water trap. This prevents water vapour from interfering with gas sensor readings. The KANE-GCU also features a large water trap, mains power supply, and supports long-term testing.
An interchangeable flue gas probe (285 mm standard, with longer options available) is included, as well as a 10 m extension hose & thermocouple cable, and the required power supply unit with adaptors.
Important: The KANE-GCU is only compatible with KANE958 and KANE988 analysers.
