Description
The KANE EGA-4 is a high-performance, battery-powered exhaust gas analyser capable of measuring four gases simultaneously: CO, CO₂, HC, and O₂ (ranges typically CO 0–10 %, CO₂ 0–20 %, HC 0–5,000 ppm, O₂ 0–21 %). It features a large graphic display that makes visualising trends and diagnostics easier, and it’s designed for field and workshop use.
Unique NDIR (Non-Dispersive Infrared) sensors provide fast, accurate readings that meet many official test standards. The EGA-4 can identify issues such as fuel flow variations, misfire events, or EVAP emissions, and supports Lambda / Air-Fuel Ratio (AFR) calculations to help optimise engine efficiency.
Connectivity is built-in: the EGA-4 supports KANE LINK wireless modules and integration with KANE LIVE or other third-party apps for remote data analysis and reporting. It stores over 200 test logs internally and has a rechargeable battery with a minimum 4-hour operating life. Rugged design features include a protective rubber sleeve and magnetic mounting capability. The instrument is backed by a lifetime warranty when serviced and recertified by KANE, under their KANE CARE program.
